Refund Policy

  • In the unlikely event that Balian Spirit Yoga (Nicky Sudianta / Ruth Daugalis) or Yama Balian (the venue) need to cancel the event, a full refund of all monies will be returned to the registrant.

  • ​If a registrant withdraws from the course before 75 days of the retreat start date, they will be refunded the full retreat amount.

  • ​If a registrant withdraws between 75 days and 45 days before the retreat start date, they will get a 50% refund. Due to our need to commit to the costs of accommodation and other arrangements in advance, your understanding on this matter is appreciated.

  • If a registrant withdraws with less than 45 days before the retreat start date, the amount already paid will not be refunded unless there is genuinely a paying customer to fill that space, we of course will be happy to try to accommodate this.

  • Cancellations due to flight interruptions, volcanic activity, Covid, or other circumstances that result in inability to attend are not the responsibility of the organiser, and unfortunately will not be able to be refunded.

 

Payments and cancellations

  • All monies are to be paid in full prior to the retreat.

  • Early Bird Discount will apply if the full amount owing is received by midnight of the cut-off date. To qualify for the Early Bird Discount, you must pay the FULL amount before, or on the cut-off date.

 

Conditions

  • It is recommended that registrants purchase Travel Insurance to cover any situation that may arise, such as illness, change of ticket dates, family emergency, etc.

  • ​It is your responsibility to organise suitable travel and health insurance. Although we strongly encourage you to do so, you acknowledge that the organisers are not in the business of providing insurance products and cannot be held liable if your failure to arrange suitable insurance coverage leaves you exposed, medically, financially or otherwise. 

 

Force Majeur

  • Balian Spirit Yoga, Nicky Sudianta, Ruth Daugalis and will not be liable for failure to perform any of its obligations under this Agreement during any period in which such party cannot perform due to fire, earthquake, flood, or another natural disaster, pandemic, epidemic, explosion, casualty, war, terrorism, embargo, riot, civil disturbance, the act of a public enemy, an act of God, or the intervention of any government authority, or similar cause beyond either party’s control, Balian Spirit Yoga, Nicky Sudianta and Ruth Daugalis would not be liable for refunds, loss of income or investment.

  • ​Simply put, you participate in this retreat at your own risk. Balian Spirit Yoga, Nicky Sudianta, Ruth Daugalis and any associates accept no liability for damages of any kind.
